Frank Woodruff Obituary

Frank S. Woodruff, 82, Easton, NH. Frank entered his earthly life in Elizabeth, NJ on October 20, 1943, and he left for eternal life at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH on
February 18, 2026. Frank’s early life was spent in the Elizabeth/Hillside area of NJ. He attended high school at St. Mary’s in Elizabeth and college at St. Peter’s in Jersey City, NJ. Frank was
proud throughout his entire life of his working-class roots.

Frank began his career in the financial world of NYC and for many years was associated with bond markets and government securities working at the Franklin Bank, Farm Credit Union, and
GX Clarke and Co. During his time in NYC Frank also served for 6 years in the Army Reserve. In the early 1980s he stepped away from the world of finance and undertook the renovation of
properties in Spring Lake and Manasquan NJ (the Jersey Shore). He also decided to continue his education and received a master’s degree in environmental science from NJIT. Upon graduation
he procured a position in the aviation department of the Port Authority of NY & NJ. His place of employment was the World Trade Center. Frank was present at the Trade Center bombing in
1993 and the destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001. He learned many valuable life lessons from these experiences and continually thanked God for his survival and prayed always
for those who died.

Frank married his wife, Toni, in 1985 in a beautiful ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC. They lived for many years in Manasquan, NJ before retiring and moving to Easton, NH.
Together they enjoyed many adventures in the White Mountains and formed many new and lasting friendships.

Frank was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Littleton, NH. He served as an usher and Minister of Communion at Our Lady of the Snows in Franconia, NH. He was a member of
the Knights of Columbus, and Elks Club. Frank worked for many years assisting at the Franconia Food Pantry and, until his passing, supplied desserts for the Dinner Bell when it was
St. Rose’s turn to prepare and host the weekly meal. Frank served his Town of Easton first on the Planning Board, and later on the Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Frank was predeceased by his mom, Rita Woodruff, and his dad, Frank Woodruff. He is survived by his wife, Toni, his daughter, Jennifer Feranda and husband Peter, and granddaughter,
Mary Ferands. He also leaves behind his sisters, Sharyn King (Michael), Nancy Chamberlin, and loving cousins, Christine Scheibner and Rosann Blasi along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and
many cherished friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 26, 11:00, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Franconia, with Father Ryan Amazeen officiating.
