DALTON – Michael A. Bryant, 29, of Whitefield Road, Dalton, died unexpectedly on Saturday evening, January 20, 2024, in Littleton. Michael was born in Littleton on April 21, 1994. He was raised in Dalton and attended White Mountain Regional High School and the North Country Charter Academy, Littleton, from where he graduated. Starting at high school age, Michael worked at Lowes in Littleton for five years while in school. He then moved on to the Mt. Washington Hotel where he worked as a receiving clerk for a time. Michael attended a year of college in 2022 and was planning on going back in 2024. Michael eventually became a talented aluminum welder and fabricator and was presently working for MMCI in St. Johnsbury. He has been employed there for the past six to seven years. Michael enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing and hunting, snow machining, four-wheeling, and fireside visits with friends and family. He and Macayla liked to go kayaking and spending the days on the water together. He particularly enjoyed trapping with his grandfather Fred and cousins Kenneth and Brandon Mitton. Michael was a car lover and had collected various cars including his Audi, Fiat, and Dodge Charger and a few Chevy Cavaliers. He regularly attended car shows with his girlfriend Macayla. He also had an extensive gun collection. The love of his life, Macayla King, passed with Michael on January 20th and they lived together for almost 10 years. Michael and Macayla were enjoying life every day and had so many wonderful plans for their future. Both of them had good jobs that they loved, and they were very good at what they did. Macayla was growing her photography business that she started on her own. She was honored for some of the pictures that she had taken and entered them into contests and were published. Michael was very good at fabricating and was planning to one day open a small part time fabricating shop in his garage in the distant future. He was predeceased by his father Allan E. Bryant; his paternal grandfather, Frederick G. Mason; and his paternal great-grandfather, Russell E Wood.
Surviving family members include his grandmother, Jessie Mason; siblings, Khierstyn Bryant and Jonathan Hughes; an aunt, Debra Mitton; a great-grandmother Jessie Wood; a great-aunt Linda Wood; nieces and nephews and several other cousins.
Calling hours will be held with Macayla on Saturday, February 3, 10-12 PM, with a service at 12 PM, with Reverend Lyn Winter officiating, at the Ross Funeral Home, Littleton. A Celebration of Life for Michael and Macayla will be held on Saturday, February 10, at the Elks Lodge, Bethlehem. Dinner and raffle from 5-7 PM and music 7-10 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made by going to Venmo and use @Khierstyn-Bryant to assist the family with funeral expenses.
