Alison Jane Ferrelli Morris, 63, of Franconia, NH, passed away on February 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care.
Born on September 3, 1960, in Medford, MA, Alison was the cherished daughter of Frank and Jane Ferrelli. In 1966, she moved with her parents and younger brother, Peter Ferrelli, to Franconia, NH, where she spent the remainder of her 58 years. Alison attended St. Rose of Lima Elementary School, and later graduated from The White Mountain School. In 1982, she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire.
During her time at university, Alison met her husband, Richard Morris. They exchanged vows in Franconia, NH, in 1984, and together raised three sons. Second only to her family, community, and her faith, Alison loved her home of Franconia more than anything. She volunteered at the Lafayette Regional School and taught skiing on Cannon Mountain where she was nominated as one of the top 100 ski instructors in North America in 2003.
Throughout her life, Alison was known for her warmth, compassion, and unconditional dedication to her family. Her love was ever-present, and she found immense joy in being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Alison leaves behind a legacy of love and benevolence. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard; her three sons Zach, Neville, and Jared; his wife, Allison; their daughter, Sawyer; Alison’s brother, Peter; his wife, Teresa; their children, Christopher, Anna, John, and Sophia. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
